Ice Fishing Melchsee-Frutt
Ice fishing just like up North
At Melchsee-Frutt you have the opportunity to spend an unforgettable day of ice fishing. Accompanied by guides, you cut your own opening on Melchsee or Tannensee and with a bit of luck you may pull out some good-sized trout or char.
Ice fishing (event with overnight accommodation or just one day of ice fishing) is available from mid-January to late March, but only on certain dates and under the professional supervision of the ice fishing guides of Melchsee-Frutt. These dates are listed at www.melchsee-frutt.ch/fischerei/eisfischen. Reservations are required as the event is very popular and space is limited. Children aged 10 and older are welcome.

Buy ticket
Buy your ticket from the SBB Shop or SBB Mobile app. You can also buy a ticket from the driver, at all ticket terminals, PostBus sales offices and at the counter of your nearest railway station.

Route open all year
Directions
Take the S5 train from Lucerne to the Sarnen railway station, change to PostBus route 343 and continue to the final stop at Stöckalp. Return by the same route.
Reservations
For groups of 10 people or more, a reservation is required on the previous day until 16.00 h at the latest. Tel. +41 58 448 06 22
Reservations for individual travelers (1-9 persons) are not accepted. Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more.
