Travel to us by Postbus in just 15 minutes from the Brig-Glis-Naters conurbation. We can offer you an outstanding recreation area. As the ideal starting point for hikes, cycling and snowshoe tours, we are proud of the many guests and sightseers who visit us. Hike through magnificent forests and walk alongside the fascinating irrigation channels in the romantic and wild Gredetsch Valley. Rustic hamlets that have retained their ancient Valais style of architecture and Maiensäss pastures invite you to linger. And you’ll encounter black-faced sheep, blackneck goats and the famous Hérens and Simmental cattle.
Or discover the neighbouring village of Finnen, which is approximately 30 minutes away from Visp by Postbus. A detour to Finnen is not to be missed – thanks to its exposed location facing south-west, it delivers fantastic views of the Rhone Valley and the four-thousand-metre peaks of the Saas and Matter Valleys. A two-hour hike will then bring you from Finnen to the village of Mund, famous for its saffron.
